Versus Finance Limited is registered with the Jersey Financial Services Commission under registration number 123690. Please note, however, that we are currently not regulated by the JFSC.

Products We Offer

We operate as a credit broker/introducer, not as a lender. Our role is to facilitate introductions to a carefully selected panel of finance providers and banking institutions. We offer assistance in the following product categories:

  • Personal Loans (Secured and Unsecured)
  • Business Loans
  • Motor Finance (Leases, Hire Purchase)
  • Asset Finance
  • Mortgages

All lending decisions are made solely by the respective lenders, based on their own criteria. Versus Finance Limited bears no responsibility for any decisions, actions, or omissions made by the lenders to whom we introduce you.

Our panel of lenders is selected to provide a range of potential finance options. However, we do not offer financial advice and do not operate as financial advisors. Instead, we assist in introducing you to lenders and finance products that may be suitable based on the information you provide. You are under no obligation to proceed with any product introduced by us, and we encourage you to consider other providers who may offer similar products better suited to your needs.

For independent advice regarding borrowing, mortgages, or other financial matters, we recommend seeking professional advice. 

Service Fees

At Versus Finance Limited, we believe in transparency regarding our fees. While we may receive commissions from finance companies or banking institutions, certain services are chargeable. By using our services, you agree to the fee structure outlined below:

  • Personal Loans, Hire Purchase (HP), Asset Finance: Free of charge
  • Business Lending: 2.5% of the loan amount, with a minimum fee of £350
  • Mortgage Brokerage:
    • £995 payable upon submission of a complete application
    • £1,000 payable upon the successful offer of a mortgage

Additional Work Fees

In cases where the scope of work requires additional time or complexity beyond what was initially anticipated, further fees may apply. Any such fees will be discussed and agreed upon prior to the commencement of additional work.

Commission Arrangements

Versus Finance Limited may receive commissions from lenders in exchange for introducing their products. The following commission models apply:

  • Percentage of Balance Financed: A commission is paid based on a percentage of the amount you borrow. This percentage remains consistent, regardless of the interest rate you pay.
  • Flat Fee Commission: A fixed commission is paid to us, independent of the loan amount or interest rate.

Versus Finance Limited is registered under the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2018 and Data Protection (Authority) Jersey Law 2018 with registration number 58024. While we introduce you to a select panel of lenders, we do not guarantee the approval of any application, nor the terms or conditions that may be offered by these lenders. Any financial commitment you make is at your own risk, and we are not responsible for any losses incurred.

Limitation of Liability

Versus Finance Limited is not liable for any decisions, actions, or financial losses resulting from engagements with the lenders we introduce. We strongly advise you to thoroughly review all terms and conditions provided by lenders before committing to any finance product.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

The information contained in this document and any services provided by Versus Finance Limited are governed by the laws of Jersey. By using our services, you agree that any disputes arising from this document or the services provided will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Jersey.
